Dr Dawn Herd

Hi my name is Dawn Herd and I operate as Walkabout Vet servicing the Noosa Hinterland from my base here in Eumundi. I operate as a mobile vet as I saw a need in the local market for a service that provides home visits.

I have had a passion for animals all my life and after graduating as a Veterinarian at the University of Queensland I dreamed of one day establishing a practice that reflects my values of quality care for pets and wildlife. Now that my two beautiful young daughters have become a little more independent, I am able to bring my dream to fruition and have established Walkabout Vet. I specialize particularly in small animals and have a special interest in treating skin conditions that trouble so many pets in this sub-tropical climate.
